How are the Jets fans holding up?
I hope they aren't too mad. Who would have ever seen the Jets even getting that far? They did a great job this season, just didn't make it all the way. I was rooting for them even though I'm not really a fan. But they are close to my hometown lol. I like to see upsets, I like to see the underdogs do well. Why don't they just make them the NJ Jets? They play IN Jersey lol ! And NY already has the Giants!

- I couldn't see Jets fans being to dissapointed, they got to the AFC championship so at least theres something to be proud of for this season and something to look forward to for the next. But, when you fall one game short of the biggest game that you play for all season your going to have some dissapointment, just depends on how much hype that team had built up. Seeing the underdog do well in playoff is always neat to watch.
- The Jets shocked a lot of ppl. From thinking they were out of the playoffs to competing to go to the superbowl, who would have thought it? The Colts just took advantage of the other Jet CBs. Revis did his job but with the injuries they suffered during the game mixed in with the speed of the Colts receivers, they were no match. I think the major problem was in the beginning of the year ppl wasn't expecting Revis to be the lockdown defender he was this year, but by the playoffs, the memo was out, and the Colts had too many weapons. It was a good run and with Rex Ryan coaching them, I expect good things in the future.
- The Jets way exceeded expectations. They have nothing to hang their heads about. They really played hard and did their best. If they keep that same squad together they'll be a force next season.
- If I'm a Jets fan, I'm disappointed. Especially after seeing a 17-6 lead evaporate in the third quarter. However, the Jets were playing with house money, and no one expected them to get this far. They should hold their heads high and be proud of their team. Jets fans won't take long to get over it and have a lot to be optimistic about going forward. This is a young team with an outstanding defense, a terrific offensive line, and a young and poised QB in Mark Sanchez emerging. The Jets have a very bright future and their fans have a lot to be excited about. I really think this Jets team is going to contend for the Super Bowl next season.
- They had no business being in the AFCCG to begin with and now they are where they belong. HOME. Sorry to sound so harsh but everybody knew they would fall apart eventually. Btw, the Giants ALSO play in New Jersey.
- I'm not mad, I'm not upset, I'm more optimistic for 2010 after falling 1 half short of the Super Bowl. I know we need to just plug a few holes and get Leon and Kris back at full strength next season and the JETS will be back in the playoff hunt espicially with Mark getting an offseason to get on track with Braylon, J-CO and Dustin and with Shonn getting healthy for next season our Offense is going to be awesome. Defense needs to just get a pass rusher to go along with the big bad Kris Jenkins and Shaun "Big Katt" Ellis. Kerry Rhodes is probably gone and we need to get a good CB to replace Strickland and Sheppard. Our Defense is 2 players short of being an immovable object. Jay Feely and Steve Weatherford is going to be our kicker and punter respectivly. Jim Leonhard will still be our Punt Returner and when Leon is healthy which he will be by the start of Training Camp he will take over the Kick Return duties again. 2009 was 1 game short of a great season but 2009 was not a failure in the very least after what we have been thru in the past few years and with Rex Ryan at the controls of our destiny I am very confident in the JETS being CONTENDERS for the next 3-4 years....J! E! T! S! JETS JETS JETS!!!!
