To Jets Fans: How Are Opposing Fans Treated At The Stadium?
I'm a Cardinals fan going to the game on Sunday and am wondering how Jets fans treat fans from opposing teams. Back when the Cards were playing in Philly once a year I got alot of abuse but only one time it was physical(got beer dumped on me). Normally I wouldn't care but it's my wife's first football game and want to avoid any grief. So, should I be safe wearing my Fitzgerald jersey? How about just a hat?

- As a Jets fan myself, I would advise you NOT to wear a Cards jersey or any jersey other than the Jets. New Yorkers/Jersey people are known to harass the the fans of the opposing team. Of course we're not as bad as Philly fans, but still we're pretty rowdy. If you are bringing your wife, I suggest you not to wear your Jersey, its okay to root for the Cards, but don't wear a Jersey. Because I don't want you to be embarrased and made fun of in front of your wife. I'm looking out for you bro.
- I don't think it is Philadelphia or Oakland, if that is what you are asking.
- You should be fine. The jets fans have realized their team sucks and they have a washed up quarterback. They are very peaceful people.
- Totally your call. Obviously there's rowdy fans every game, and respectful fans at every game, just depends who you're stuck sitting next to. Most fans obviously would probably just say something to you and be done with it, but you never know. If its your wife's first game and you want to avoid anything I would not wear the jersey just to be safe, but if you feel comfortable enough, you shouldn't get harassed too bad.
